“AI in Drug Discovery: Opportunities and Challenges”– Dr. Srijit Seal, Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, and the University of Cambridge
Dr. Seal is a researcher specializing in cheminformatics at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, and the University of Cambridge. His research uses machine learning techniques to predict drug bioactivity, safety, and toxicity, mainly modelling and interpreting the Cell Painting assay. His actively engages in academic outreach, promoting the understanding of Artificial Intelligence and delivering seminars on its applications in drug discovery.
