Founded in 2017, Trinity College Postdoctoral Society brings together postdoctoral researchers from different disciplines across Cambridge. Members enjoy a comfortable meeting space with tea and coffee in the Deighton Room, privileges at Trinity, including use of the bar, cafeteria, and College punts, and a full calendar of events throughout the year, at the centre of which are regular Society Formal Dinners.
Welcome from the Fellow for Postdoctoral Affairs, August 2022
The College founded the Postdoctoral Society in spring 2017, to help give the University’s community of post-docs more opportunities to meet and talk, within and between disciplines. Since its inception, it has been a strong success—thanks to the energy and initiative of its members, who have organized many enjoyable events, both regular dinners and talks, and one-off events.
As College, the University and of course wider society return to more in-person activities, we very much look forward to welcoming both new members and returning members, so that postdoctoral researchers can experience a little of college life, with new and renewed friendships, discussions and activities. I welcome you warmly to the society, and hope that I have the opportunity to meet you personally before too long.
