Fireside Chat: Research Commercialisation

Join us for an inspiring Fireside Chat on Research Commercialisation at the Old Combination Room, Trinity College, on Thursday 5 February 2026, 5.30–7.30pm.
The discussion will bring together Nobel Prize–winning biochemist Sir Greg Winter, a pioneer of antibody engineering, and leading clinician-scientist Professor Rebecca Fitzgerald, internationally recognised for her work on early detection of oesophageal cancer.
Aimed at students and researchers interested in innovation, entrepreneurship, and research commercialisation, this moderated discussion will explore insights from these two outstanding researchers and entrepreneurs.
Doors open at 5.30pm, with drinks and light refreshments served until 6.00pm. The discussion begins at 6.00pm.
