Looking to explore career paths beyond academia? Join us for an exciting online event with Julius Bock to discover the wide range of opportunities available to postdocs at QuantCo.
Julius joined the Institute for Manufacturing (IfM) in 2020 as a PhD candidate in engineering and a Cambridge Trust Scholar. He is passionate about leveraging interdisciplinary problem-solving, entrepreneurship, and digital technologies to enhance everyday life. Prior to his PhD, Julius obtained a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, as well as an M.Sc. in Management, from the Technical University of Munich, with research stays at Stanford and Cambridge.
In this session, Julius, who will continue his work at QuantCo after his PhD, will share insights into their dynamic work environment, professional growth opportunities, and the job application process. Learn what it takes to transition successfully from academia to industry and gain valuable tips to navigate the journey.
