DESCRIPTION:The Inclusive Teaching and Learning Group is open to postgrads\, postdocs\, and Fellows of Trinity. Lunch is provided. Please RSVP to Dr Carys Brown (carys.brown@trin.cam.ac.uk) with any dietary restrictions the Sunday before the event\, so that sufficient food can be ordered. \nThursday 1 February\, 12.15-1.15pm: Nicola Cavaleri will be talking to us about teaching students (in any subject) for whom English is a second language. Nicola works at the Engineering Department’s Centre for Language and Intercultural Communication\, and has also delivered some fantastic sessions for students in all subjects at Trinity. She has a particular interest in learning strategies and the influence of different cultural and rhetorical frameworks on the academic performance of overseas students.
