Whereas the enterprise and tech eco-system across the globe are rapidly progressing and opening unique opportunities as well as challenges to the conventional academic R&D philosophy and career progress. \n“Gender Equality: A Distant Dream?”- Dr. Maryam Tanwir\, CEO\, Unlearning \nMaryam is the CEO of the company of Unlearning. She has an MPhil and PhD from the University of Cambridge. Maryam will talk about gender equality and its challenges. To move the needle to a more gender equal society\, initiating awareness of the phenomenon is the first step to correct this misperception. DESCRIPTION:Members of Trinity Postdoctoral Society come together for a Potluck Picnic and the society provides outdoor activities\, sing-song and ice-cream. This is a family-friendly event. All involved parents and carers are responsible for their own children/allergies (1.5 – 10 years old). Parents and carers are responsible for their own children’s adequate clothing\, supervision\, allergies and safeguarding. They also need to escort children to the toilet at Butlers house (Burrell’s field).
